Richmond BBQ Sausage Pasta Bake

  • Richmond BBQ Sausages
  • Dried Pasta – 300g
  • Onion - diced
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1tbsp smoked paprika
  • Tomato puree – 2 tbsp
  • 1 red pepper – diced
  • 1 tin of red kidney beans (400g)
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes (400g)
  • Runner beans – diced – 200g
  • Crème fraiche – 300g
  • Grated cheese – sprinkling
Step 1 Preheat Oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Step 2 Place the sausages in a large oven proof dish (use a big enough dish that you will can the pasta and sauce into later) – cook for 25 minutes
Step 3 Cook the pasta as per pack instructions – once cooked drain and set aside
Step 4 Meanwhile add the onion to a saucepan with a splash of oil, cook on a low heat for 7 minutes.
Step 5 Then add the garlic, paprika and tomato puree and cook for a further 3 minutes
Step 6 Add in your veggies, beans and chopped tomatoes and cook for a further 10 minutes – stirring occasionally
Step 7 Finally Stir in the crème fraiche
Step 8 Slice up the cooked sausages and return to the pan – add in the cooked pasta and sauce, top with grated cheese and place back into the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and crisping up
