Chicken Sausage Pasta
This delicious chicken sausage pasta is made with the perfect combination of ingredients. The dish starts with a base of fusilli pasta, cooked al dente and tossed in a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil add Richmond Chicken Sausages are added, giving the dish a delicious flavour. To finish it off, the pasta is stirred with green pesto and served with a salad fresh basil and cherry tomatoes for a hint of sweetness. The result is a comforting and flavourful dish that is sure to please everyone.
Cooking Instructions
Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta for 10-12 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the grill to medium. Place the sausages on a grill rack and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
Drain the pasta then return to the pan, stir in the pesto. Cut the sausages into bite size pieces and stir into the pasta, serve immediately garnished with the basil leaves and a side salad of leaves and cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
