Chicken Fajitas

Chicken fajitas are a Mexican-inspired dish that is sure to tantalise your taste buds. It begins with Richmond Meat-Free Chicken Pieces that are fried until they are softened and charred at the edges. Then, the chicken is sliced into thin strips and added to a warm flour tortilla with sautéed bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Finally, the fajita is topped with a generous helping of vegan crème fraîche or sour cream and fresh salsa. The flavourful combination of the chicken, peppers, and cheese make for an irresistible meal that is sure to please any crowd.

Cooking Instructions

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat, add the onion and pepper slices and cook for around 10 minutes, or until softened and charred at the edges.

Add the chicken pieces to the pan cook for around 5 minutes until heated through, season to taste with salt and pepper.

Warm the tortillas then fill with the chicken and pepper mix, guacamole, salsa and crème fraiche.
