Meat-Free BLT

A BLT is a classic sandwich made with Richmond Meat-Free Streaky Bacon, lettuce, and tomato. It is a favourite of many people, and it can be made in many different ways. Our version of this sandwich is made with slices of Richmond Meat-Free Streaky Bacon, crisp lettuce, and ripe, juicy tomatoes, all served on toasted white bread with a layer of vegan mayonnaise. The lettuce should be fresh and crunchy for added texture. The combination of the meat-free bacon, lettuce, and tomato, with the creamy mayonnaise, all served on the toasted bread, makes for a truly delicious sandwich.

Cooking Instructions

Heat the oil in a frying pan on a medium heat. Fry the meat-free bacon for 3-4 minutes until browned and piping hot.

Lightly mash the avocado with a fork and spread over one of the slices of bread and spread the vegan mayonnaise on the other slice.

Cut the tomato into thick slices then layer on top of the avocado, add the lettuce leaves and top with the bacon. Place the mayonnaise covered bread on top, cut sandwich in half and serve straight away.
