We often get asked all sorts of things about our sausages. Here are some of the most popular questions, and their answers. If your question isn't here, please contact us and we will do our best to respond with the answer.

Do your products contain GM foods?

No. Richmond recognises that while the technology of genetic modfication may offer a number of benefits, you may have reservations about the use of such novel scientific techniques. So where possible we have removed all ingredients derived from either soya or maize. But where we have to use these ingredients, we will purchase from suppliers that can prove that the origination of their soya or maize is conventional, i.e. non-GM.

I am allergic to wheat, can I eat your sausages?

Sorry, but no; most sausages contain rusk, which is wheat based. This means that those with a gluten allergy also should avoid eating sausages.
